Lukas Neuhauser Ph.D.
Lukas Neuhauser received his bachelor’s degree from University of Mannheim in 2014 and spent an exchange semester at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Keen to obtain more international experience he enrolled at Stockholm School of Economics for his master’s degree in economics, including an exchange at Erasmus University Rotterdam. During his bachelor studies, he gained practical experience through internships at Commerzbank, KPMG and Deutsche Bank. In a research internship during his master studies, at IWH’s macroeconomics department, he worked on a macroeconometric projection model and for his master’s thesis he employed an incomplete markets model to analyze distributional effects of taxation reforms. During his last semester in Stockholm he worked as a teaching assistant for the course Macroeconomic Theory.
Generally, his research interests lie in macroeconomics, finance, monetary policy and inequality. Besides studying he enjoys traveling, swimming and all kinds of cultural activities.
