Nick Lin is currently an assistant research fellow (assistant professor) in the Institute of Political Science at Academia Sinica, Taiwan. Before joining Academia Sinica, he was a postdoctoral research fellow in the Collaborative Research Center SFB 884 at the University of Mannheim.
Nick completed his Ph.D. in political science at Rice University in 2015. His research and teaching interests include comparative political institutions, parties and elections, legislative politics, and electoral behavior. His current research broadly centers on how institutions structure the way political parties/elites and voters behave, and how these two actors interact with each other, with a primary regional focus on Western Europe.
