Benedikt Bender studied sociology, political science and social work in Heidelberg, Worclaw and Darmstadt. He is a researcher at the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (MZES) at the University of Mannheim and works at the chair of Macrosociology. His research focuses on the role of interest organizations in reform process, and he investigates labour market and social policies from an international, comparative perspective.
