Nicole Rae Baerg completed her Ph.D. in political science at Emory University in May 2013. She joined the University of Mannheim in March 2013 as a postdoctoral research in Quantitative Methods and was promoted to Assistant Professor of International Organizations at the University of Mannheim in 2014. Her research areas include the political economy of central banking, fiscal and monetary policies, public opinion, and immigration. She is also interested in political text analysis and she plays a key role in developing the Political Text Analysis Network component of the Z1 project.
