Pirmin Stöckle is a doctoral candidate at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Social and Behavioral Sciences (CDSS) at the University of Mannheim and works at the Collaborative Research Center SFB 884 (Project C2). He received his Bachelor's Degree in Politics and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz and holds a Master's Double Degree in Political Science from the University of Konstanz and Pompeu Fabra University Barcelona.
Before joining the CDSS, Pirmin gained professional experience as a consultant in the market research industry. During this time, he conducted and analyzed empirical survey studies on, e.g., pricing, customers' decision-making, and brand image, with a focus on putting to use insights from Behavioral Economics.
His current research interests center around the perception and processing of political (mis-) information, and its influence on individual and aggregate attitude formation and decision-making.
