Hyeonho Hahm is a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Collaborative Research Center SFB 884 at the University of Mannheim. He completed his Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Michigan. Prior to starting his graduate program, he led and participated in a number of nationwide civic and academic activities voluntarily organized by college students in South Korea. His dissertation examines how institutional contexts shape partisan politics at both in the electorate and the legislature, based on survey experiments and the large-scale cross-national analysis. His major research areas include political parties, institutional legitimacy, and the political economy of reforms, standing at a critical nexus of institutions, political behavior, and policy outcomes.
